Default Utility Mat Rear Cargo Area

Hello all,

I recently replaced the flooring in the rear cargo area of my '86 k5. I also took out the side carpeting/interior and rolled in bedliner over the sides and wheel wells. It looks good. My plan then was to buy a rubber utility mat, which I found at Summit racing for around $70, and put it over the rear flooring. I ordered it in mid October and they told me it would be shipped out in early Novemeber. Well they're now telling me it will be early December. I want to cancel this order, but I'm having a hard time finding anywhere else that sells this sort of thing.

My question is has anyone else done this and where did you get your utility mat? The tractor supply has some made by "DeeZee", but they don't have the specific make for k5's. LMC sells them as well but 1) they're expensive 2) it seems awfully thin at 1/8" thick. The summit racing mat I ordered is 3/8" thick as well as the mats they sell at the Tractor Supply.

My question is basically has anyone found a "DeeZee" mat of a different make that fits the K5 or do you have another company you went through to get rear cargo mats?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Nevermind, after I called in to Summit Racing asking if I could cancel my order, they got my mat right out. It was a great buy if anyone is trying to do something similar. It was an 8 x 6 foot mat for around $70.

i would have just seen if i could have gotten some heavy duty rubber and cut out what i needed. but it all depends on what you are using your truck for. if its more of a daily driver i guess i would have spent the extra buck too.
