what kind of transmission is in my 85 k5??????

ive had this blazer for bout 6 months now and no one can tell me what kind of transmission it has its a manuel transmission that is a top load (no linkages on the sides) and its got granny low, 1st,2nd,3rd, and reverse can anyone help please

i think it is called a sm465

Yes, if it is a 4 speed, then it is the SM465.

check out my fav site for my blazer LMCTRUCK.com, if you get their free catalog it has a diagram and description of transmissions, thats how i found out what kind i had!
