Default 01 blazer gas

i wanted to know if my 01 blazer will take 89 or 91 or even 94 i have the stock 4.3l v6. what performance differance will it have? will it change the sound of the engine? what if i mix normal gas with anything else?

Higher octane gas will not change the engine performance, only cost more. Higher octane is offered so that higher compression engines will not pre detonate. You are way better off focusing on top tier regular gas because they have better additives.

Higher octane gas will improve your acceleration by reducing weight. Unfortunately, the reduction is entirely in your wallet. Like George said, use good quality, "name brand" gas and you'll be fine.
