10MPG 98 Blazer
Hey all!!! I have a bit of a problem. I have a 98 blazer with a 3 inch lift and 31" general gabbed all season tires. I filled her up reset the mileage and ran til the low fuel light came on. My odometer read 198 miles. Filled her up n she drank 16.2 gallons to fill up. I do start my truck and let it run for about 10mins to let it warm up. But most of my driving is not stop and go rather a stop light here or there..Why am I only getting 12.2 mpg? It doesn't have a cat on it... Idk if that has anything to do with mpg... Any suggestions?? Thanks guys!!

That would explain it... If it hasn't been tuned up in a while you could try that. But, these trucks just don't get good mpg's when lifted from what Ive seen...
FWIW, My 97 with 31" BFG's would get about 13 MPG in the winter months (180K miles). The 01 i have now w/33's is getting 15MPG now that its getting cold.
