Im looking at purchasing a 1974 K5 Blazer all original except the tires and skid plate on front axle. Has 454 factory option, 4-speed, hard top and soft top, roll bar, front bucket seats with console. Will need some body work above rear wheel wells otherwise everything works and is in good shape except the carpet. Dash was replaced about 3 years ago. I do not remember the mileage though.

Just wondering what this would be worth. I figure there were not that many 454/4 speed blazers out there.

After doing some more research I am not finding anything online that shows a 454 as an option for the Blazer in 1974. Can anyone help me out with this? I will be going back out to where I found the blazer in acouple of weeks and will check for the RPO codes to see. It does have the 454 grille also.

 

There was no 454 option in the '74 K5 Blazer. Check out THIS PAGE from the brochures.slosh.com repository for a complete listing of available engines.

But you can buy the 454 grill insert for fairly cheap. The 454 was available in the Suburban in that year.
