Somtimes when I come to a red light or to a stop the car just stalls out and I can smell bad fumes. It will start back up if the gas is tapped on ten stall out again when no gas is being applied I got the trouble code 'octaine burns to rich' so I replaced the o2 censor. I still get only about 11 miles a gal. and it still stalls out from time to time. Also the interior lights will not turn off I had to take the bullbs out. it has 126,000 miles on it. Please help me!!!!!!

 

when was the last time you replaced spark plugs? What about distributor cap and rotor?

 

if its runnin too rich you may need your valves cleaned. i had it done in the jimmy from a dealer and it didnt cost too much. you could also try some sea foam and a new fuel filter.
