1997 4WD Blazer lift-gate hinges??? are 2-door & 4-door the same?
I'm trying to find replacement hinges for the GLASS LIFT GATE on my 1997 Chevy Blazer 4WD. I've been literally searching to 2 years and can not find replacement hingers.
There are usually NOT very many 1997 4WD Chevy Blazers being sold for "PARTS" even where I live in Los Angeles, so it's difficult to find 97 4WD Blazer lift-gate hinges.
Do both the 1997 4WD 2-door and 4-door versions: use the SAME lift-gate hinges?
And do the 1997 4WD (4-wheet drive) and 2WD (2-wheel drive): use the SAME lift-gate hinges?
Which other year Blazers use the SAME lift gate hinges as the 1997 4WD Blazer?
I would also be interested in purchasing 97 Blazer AFTER MARKET glass lift gate hinges - if anyone knows if that exists?
Thank you!

Just for clarity, a liftgate refers to a single door that lift upwards on which is also the rear window.
A tailgate equipped Blazer has the setup where the rear glass lifted up and there is a tailgate that drops down.
When I'm looking for parts and want to see if they are used on different bodies and years, I'll find the part numbers for the parts and then enter in the vehicle specs at a gm parts dealer like Gm Parts Giant and see if the part is shown to be compatible with the second vehicle.
For expandeexpanded diagrams and part numbers, this site has beeng great:

This particular link is for the rear glass and tailgate parts with a date of 12/97. You might have to go up a level to look at an earlier year.
There are hinges for the rear glass listed, but you'll have to confirm the fitment. 15127565 and 15127566.
