Default 1st gen 2 door Blazer rarity?

I just bought a '93 Blazer, and its a 2 door. I noticed while looking for them, I mainly only saw 4 door variants, and when I occasionally found a 2 door, it was much more expensive. Is a 2 door "rare" so to speak?

I had always thought the 2dr was more common in the 1st gen with the 4drs being more popular with the 2nd gens.

Guess it depends on the area your in, pretty much all the 1st gens are 2 door around here - in fact I don't remember ever seeing a 4 door
I thot a little on above text will and edit.

Intell anything below around a 1990 blazer all I'd seen was 2 doors.

The 1992 GMC S15 Jimmy that I used to build my 4wd rx7 in my profile picture was a totaled 4 door.

Saw a blazer Meetup in El Paso today. Out if the 10 S10 blazers, only 1 was a 2 door

I would not say they are rare, just not a common thing for people to want these days, especially if you want anyone in or out of the back seat.

Actually quite the opposite with the 1st gens.
The 4 door was not available until i believe 1991. So the only 1st gen 4 door blazers are 1991-1994. All 1st gen blazers prior to 1991 were 2 doors.

my 92 is a 2 door. Seems like thats all people want down here. Well mainly people that wants to do v8 swaps etc. I tend to hang around mostly hot rodders, and people needing a hand or 2. Hi richy.

Not sure why, but i really don't like the 4 door trucks. I saw one for $300 but i just couldn't stand the look of it. That and the fact it had sludge in the engine.

I have an 84 2 door 4wd. And as of tomorrow I'll have a 94 4 door 4x4 as well.
