Default 2005 transfer case

I have a 2005 blazer with a 5 speed transmission and 3 button transfer case. My transfer case is making some god awful clanking rattling noises when I engage it, seems like its slipping too. I've been told it might be the transfer case chain tensioner. Thinking about swapping the whole transfer case. Now my question is this, is it the same transfer case for both the automatic and manual transmission? Can I find a 3 button transfer case out of a automatic and will it match up to my 5 speed manual transmission?

same Tcase, pull and drop it in, that grinding is probably the same issue that pops up more often in silverados, input shaft retainer circlip fails and destroys it internally.
