2016 Blazer?
2016 Chevy Blazer K-5 Is In Your Hands - Gear Heads Found a couple sites reporting this. I don't see them making a K5 version as much as I could see them doing it based off of the Colorado. Maybe they are realizing a lot of people dislike crossovers but can't afford the bigger SUVs....

Also they make a trailblazer in Brazil that looks nothing like what they made here... Maybe this could be similar to what they are cooking up?

I know it's a shame, I was up last night looking at new small SUVs comparable to the Blazer and none exist. They are all unibody now except for the xterra. Not hating on unibodys per say but also most are all independent suspension so lifts for them are either non existent (new Cherokee) or very small.

Brazilian Trailblazer, introduced in 2013
It's only available with either a V6 or a 4-cyl turbodiesel, unlike the '95-'11 Blazer which had 4-cyl gassers (lately flexfuel) available. The V6 is the same 3.6L used in U.S.-spec trucks while the Diesel is the 2.8L Duramax. In other markets there is a 2.5L Duramax too, and also 2WD and manual transmission option, but Brazilian Trailblazers come only in 4WD and automatic transmission. It seems like Chevy attempted to give it a more upscale image and wants to distance from the police car stereotype attached to the old S10 Blazer.
