Default 2nd gen K5 tow hooks

I am looking to buy factory style tow hooks for my 87 K5 Blazer and was wondering if anyone could show me how they bolt on and let me know where you can get them online. I spent 5 hours at junkyards yesterday looking for a K5 blazer with them but their wasnt any . Thanks in advance!

might have to drill some holes. i never liked those stock k5 hooks i seen a few rip the frame due to the screwy way they mount. the last couple k5 blazers i owned and my current s10 i use ones of the mid 90s chevy trucks. those things are indestructible the bolt right to the bottom from of the frame, after you drill a few holes of course

i actually picked mine from a local 4x4 shop, they had a ton of them laying around due to having to take them off when installing grill guards and fog lights

i really have no pics of them on my k5, this is the best one i got. you can see it at the bottom of the bumper

Thanks, and yeah I looked at a friends K5 last night and it definatly is a weird way of mounting, and after hearing that from you I definatly dont want to get them and risk it. My dad has a 97 3/4 ton chevy pickup and those are the type of tow hooks he has on his. Guess ill be trying to find a way to mount 90's ones to the Blazer... Thanks for all your help!

its been a long while since i did.... i think you have to hack off like a 1/2 inch of it or something, youll figure it out, its basically a flat surface. but yeah ive been stuck in my suburban and another suburban was slamming the heck out of my truck trying to pull it out and didnt harm that hook at all
