Part time 4WD with low range option all the way. Most of the new unibody SUVs with AWD are no good for offroad or towing. The Jimmy is a solid vehicle with the body on frame design. After getting the Jimmy, I will probably never buy a sedan or any 2WD or AWD vehicle. 4WD is SO good to have in the snow or if I am camping in a remote location where the paths are in bad condition. I've gotten it stuck a few times in mud (hidden because of tall grass) after a rainstorm. All I do is put it in neutral (to take the strain off the transfer case so it will go in without a hitch), press 4HI or 4LO, put it in 1 and drive out of it as if I was on pavement.

4 Wheel drive, although until I go to the auto parts store and buy a 4" piece of vacuum line its stuck in 2Wd.
I'll never own a truck again in my life that is made as a 2 wheel drive, the only 2 wheel drive I have ever seen thats worthey was a 1976 Chevy C-10 with a 350 4Brl in it.
