94 Chevy S10 Blazer Front diff noise
So tonight i replaced my cv axle bearing both ball joints shock new brakes and new backing plates pretty much everything. I got to the passenger side and took off everything you need to pull the axle out came out with one tug. Tried to put the new axle shaft back on and bam wouldnt line up talked to a mechanic next door to me and he said there is some washers that meet the axle to the diff replace those i got to the dealer they had them so took out part of the diff put the new washers and everything back in refilled the diff pumped it in till it leaked than replaced everything. got everything together and sounds like rubber rubbing together and some metal clanking 4wd hi and low work but makes the truck wind down and makes it go so slow and makes a loud whining noise and dont know whats wrong nothing i can see is rubbing no leaks just a noise when i move and when i put it back in 2wd it works but noise is still there. i am at a lost can someone give me some advice and maybe some experience with it. thanks.
