Default 96 s10 blazer throttle issues Help!

For when I give it gas it will Climb 2 about 45 ish about 2,500 RPM and then all of a sudden it just stops getting gas and sits there and then if I let off the gas all the way and then give it about 50% throttle she'll shoot back to 2500 rpm and continue climbing speed what do I do

Sounds like very similar symptoms I was having when my original 200k catalytic converter clogged up... I would actually LOOSE speed when I got on the throttle any more than 50% or so...

I'm in Florida so no emissions test here, I cut the cat out, gutted it, welded the empty carcass back in place, and haven't looked back. Fixed the issue completely in my case, and made the exhaust sound a little better
