Default 97 jimmy fuel problem

my 97 jimmy stpd on me thought it was the fuel pump since it was making strange sound replaced it no i dont hear any sound please help i love these trucks this is my 3rd one dont want to get rid of

Sounds like you may have the same problem i did. There is a ground wire that runs from the pump to the top of the rear cross member. The bracket for the filler hose should be attached next to it. It will get dirty and lose connection giving the pump no power. So take the bolt out use sand paper to clean surfaces then put it back in and hopefully that solves your problem. If your spare tire is under your truck you may need to take it down to make getting that bolt easier.

I've never been encountering the same problem with you but it is better if you bring it to a mechanic so that they can check and fix it for you.

You must be a mechanic! There's no point in immediately running to a mechanic if you can try and troubleshoot it yourself first
