Default 98 Blazer front end work

I have a 98 Blazer with 158,000 and it has have never had any front end work done. Local shop says it needs pitman arm, idler arm and all tie rods replaced. Says all 4 ball joints should be replaced because of miles, all for $800. Is this a reasonable cost?

Well, It cost me $500 for all those parts using power performance. If you do it yourself, you save $300 and know that you put good parts in instead of possible cheap crap that some shops use. Other than that, seems like a good price.

yeah i was gonna say that i paid around 500 to 600 for all those parts. i am good friends with a mechanic so i got labor for 50$ on all of it. So 800 aint all that bad.
