Default 99 Blazer rear latch, hatch door, actuator nothing will open

Hey,

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to remove the panel on the tail gate without breaking it? I've felt around the rear panel for a screw hole or something to let me in and found nothing. Was hoping I would not have to remove the carpet or break something. Please HELP!!

its kinda hard due to it having two screws on the sides which are only accesible when the tailgate is down. But there is a post on here about how to cut a little hole in the plastic cover inside to access it. Just gotta search for it.
