Alright its in a suburban but maybe you can help me out. My parents have a 99 suburban with the 350 vortec motor. It has about 160,000 miles. It will not start and stay running. We replaced fuel pump. Fuel pressure is at 60 psi and drops to 56 while cranking. We also replaced the pressure regulator. I found no trash in screen on the old one. The engine will run while spraying ether to it. The tachometer is working. We then replaced entire distributor. Still wont run. While cranking it over it will start for a split second on its own and then die. I dont have a noid light set to test injector pulse yet but I think That is my only other option. Oh yeah, we replaced the computer with a used reflashed computer. No change. Does anyone know of something else I can test. It happened after my parents drove it 65+ miles to the grocery store and it ran fine. They come out of the store to leave and it has not run yet. Any help is appreciated.

 

well if it start while spraying fluid, i would think its a fuel problem.

 

Is the security light on?
