I've thrown around the idea of hacking off the exhaust behind the cat in do a turn down. Then pull the rest of the exhaust out & I think if you had the time you could get a fair good size tank in the location where the muffler sits. just my .02

well i think instead of turn downs i would maybe do side pipes or run the exhaust like a saw on a jeep today, he had it ran like side pipes then had it ran up the back end of his jeep kinda made it look like a stack, but being under the car i dont think it would work like i want cause i want a hose so i can fill up other cars if needed

if you have a 4 door model the spare tire can go on the roof or the tire carrier on the rear, then that frees up the room where the spare tire was,
i am thinking about a large air tank that will fit but the gas can idea may be better,

well with that idea okiedoak20 ill move the tire to roof then just cut the parts where tire an jack are both side fab some sheet metal there but the tank on one side an might have to steal your idea on air tank an put that on other, never thought of air tank

Trobbins, some s-10s, envoys, jimmy's came with an auto leveling suspension, it had its own compressor in the pass. side bumper extension, that pump can be the pump to fill the air tank under the vehicle, the same pump is also found on some cadallacs, or i guess a
small compressor like the ones in the auto parts store will work also, just fab a bracket to mount it, then run an air line and stuff...
too many ideas not enough time

I used to have an 01 Aztek AWD that had a compressor. I dont kbow if it leveled suspention, but it blew up tirea and air matresses just great. Im going to go get a photo of my neighbors jeeps aux fuel tanks for ya.

Edit - here ya go. Each one holds 2.5gal, there is 4. I dont see a manufacturers label on this carrier, but it swings out with the tire and the 4 tanks. The tanks lock on with a barrell key style thingy.
