Another Blazer in the family
Hi all!
Last night I bought my wife a 2000 Blazer. She was tired of her '93 Jimmy because it wasn't "pretty." She loves the new Blazer. It's the first 2nd Gen Blazer I've driven and it's in beautiful shape. It has brand new Michelin tires and the intake manifold gaskets have already been replaced and all of the fluids have been flushed and refilled. I got it for $1800.
I like it so well that I'm considering getting one for myself.

The '93 is sitting in front of my house. I put a new transmission in it last year so I'm not inclined to sell it anytime soon. It only has 170,000 miles on it so I'll probably start driving it and sell my crunched '94 Blazer.
I'm in Montana now so I'll post pics on Saturday when I get home.
PS- there's a '98 Jimmy close to my house that needs new LIM gaskets. I'm sorely tempted to buy it and fix it up. It's a super nice truck.

OK, I'm a little late in posting the pics but here they are:

It's a nice rig.
The pics wouldn't display properly so I just threw some links up.
Tomorrow I'm going to buy that '98 Jimmy with bad LIM gaskets for $1200. I just can't say no to a good Blazer/Jimmy.

I bought the '98 Jimmy today. I had it towed home. It's beautiful and black.
In a couple weeks when my gigs slow down I'll take the top end of the engine off and replace the LIM gaskets.
This means that I currently own two Blazers ('94 and '00) and two Jimmys ('93 and '98).
I love these trucks.
