Default anybody change out the 2dr front bucket seats?

So after two 2 1/2 hour trips this weekend I quickly decided the old front buckets in my Blazer need to be swapped out
As I climbed in Friday night it fealt like a spring popped in the lumbar area

Has anybody changed out their seats with something better ?

IMO Chev has always cheaped out ,had crappy seats

I am even concidering buckets from an import but would like to keep it some what stock matching with the back seat

It might be a good idea to look into taking them to a custom shop and have them refoam the seats with better material. Couldn't hurt to at least check price on something like that. My spring broke in the same area as yours and I was thinking of bringing into a shop.

Like I said GM seems to have fallen short in the seat department
I am leaning toward late model civic coupe seats but I need to track a set down and take some measurements
I have a 01 Civic coupe and with the same mileage as my 05 Blazer and the Civic seats are in awesome condition by comparison

Found a set of SIR buckets locally that I might go look at tommorrow if the price is right
My ef'd up back tells me what is best for me and its surely not these Blazer buckets
My experience with GM seats has me looking at just about everything else
Its a 2dr so that limits my options as well
Wifey wants heated seats as well so I might as well go big , going to have to open what ever I end up with to put them in

I had a Toyota Paseo that I wish I had the buckets from
Really comfortable seats IMO

You could do like me and swap them out for a bench!
But I realize I'm in the minority in thinking that its cool.

I love bench seats. One of my favorite things about my '93 Jimmy is that it has the rare front bench seat.

That's awesome Toby.
I think I've only seen one like that. And I see Blazers and Jimmies like crazy.

Mine is even more rare, because I've got the bench in a 2 door. Got it from a Sonoma pickup. There is a picture I think in Bolli's '86 Blazer Busch League Build.
