Smile Anyone follow blazer for sale on craigslist??

I'm always looking at Blazer 4x4s FOR SALE in Arizona, Nevada, & California. I have done this for sometime now, I seem to notice a trend. MAYBE
Last year when I bought mine pretty clean Blazers were in the $3500-$4500 range. Mine being pretty but (cursed I think) was low mileage & I paid $3900.
I have noticed that some clean higher mileage 140,000-170,000 miles were not out there as this year & are in the $1500-$2500 range. More 1996-97s than I have seen in some time. Not as many 1998-2001 as when I was looking last year.
I'm considering buying another one for a spare. When I see a 97 with 170,000 miles that is currently registered in California with owner will to get it smogged for $1600 OBO it is hard to not think about buying it. (IN CALIFORNIA present owner by law must pay for current smog or give buyer current cert.) If it will smog in California then it has to be in pretty good running order or it won't pass.
Anyway wondered if anyone else ever follows BLAZERS on CRAIGSLIST & what do you see???
Just curious on anyone Else's thoughts or observations.

I search about a 600 mile radius. I find vehicles out of Sacramento & the SF Bay Area seem to be the better vehicles I have bought. My 99 Dodge QC 4x4 V-10 5 speed came out of Bay Area with only 72,000 original miles for $5500. I bought it two years ago & it has given me no issues. Great truck.

I have only seen a couple of 1st gen Blazer 4x4 for sale. The last one I saw was too much money for me but it was a nice 100,000 Blazer, like a 93. I don't think the first gen have as many issues as the second gens or am I mistaken?

I used CL to find my Blazer a couple months ago. I searched within 150 miles, and ended up having to go about 130 to get my truck. There were just none around here that were not beat to death or had a million miles, or the asking price was 3 times what it should've been.

For comparison sake, mine is a 2000 LT 2wd, loaded with everything except heated seats, two-tone paint, 147,000 miles. I gave $1700, spent $100 in gas to go get it, and a week later spent $150 on a new fuel pump. The engine has a dead cylinder, so I figure when I'm done, I'll have $2500 in it total. I'm happy, except I dislike the color of it, but I can live with it for the options/condition. The truck is just about perfect except for the dead cylinder. It gets 17.7mpg, so I'm not really pushing to fix it!

seems as if they do not have as many issues judging by this forum, how much were they asking for the 93 with 100k?
