1st Gen's do not have 1/4th the problems. Because they were 1/4th as complicated! No BCM, no fancy HVAC controls, no active this or any security system.

Detroit gives us too much crap we do not want....

I just purchased a nice clean 95 Blazer with 98k on the clock. It needs some engine work as it blew a head gasket and after it was repaired by the previous owner it started knocking at about 2k rpm. Im not worried too much about this due to the fact I have a low mileage 4.3 sittin in another 95 Blazer that Ill use if I need to.

You said a lot there. Can you imagine these new cars with all their crap, auto parking, I can't even think of some of the crap they advertise.
I'm an old man & I don't understand any of this modern world. When I was young us guys were trying cop a feel from some good looking girl, now all I see is text sex. It looks like these new modern devices are the most important thing in life. Now I guess we need them in our vehicles.
I love my 90 Honda Civic because it just runs, put gas in it every so often, & drive.

2 years ago when i was looking for a s10 the one thing i noticed is theres tons more up here around chicago then down south. i started looking down south to find a rust free one and when i searched like atlanta, houston, austin, etc you would see like 5-8 a day posted where as around here there would be 50-100 a day. im guessing trucks are a little more popular up here or people dont want to sell them down south.

One thing I'm noticing this week anyway is San Diego seems to have more clean low miles 97-2000 Blazer 4x4s for cheap under $3000. I think if I buy another one it will be another 97. Might even consider a 2dr 4x4.

i look as far away as St. Pete, Clearwater. i drove all the way to Clearwater when i bought my big boat a year ago. around here people are convinced every POS rusted out bucket, is actually made of gold. folks want 3 grand for a 96 grand cherokee, with blown engine, and slipping trans. and no i'm not kidding. if you ever want to see how lucky you have it, try the Tallahassee Fl. C/L. people are so daydreaming LOL
