Default Battery drain

A quick question. I have determined I have a voltage drop across the ATC 20A fuse. I can hear the control module behind the passenger kick panel click as I cycle through 4 wheel drive high and low and AWD as I push the dash buttons. I am assuming all these components are working correctly. The truck will not shift out of 2 wheel drive, just blinking lights for any other selection. I pulled the fuse and let it set for several days with no battery drain. I am assuming the drive motor on the transfer case is bad. Am I on the right track here. Since it is hard to get to I thought I would get some other opinions before buying another and installing it.2001 LT Chevy Blazer. It might be a few days before I can respond to anyone because of work. Thanks in advance.

David
