Default Been away for a while

Just spent 3 days touring the Coromandel peninsula.

Blazer behaved very well, although I only did about 550km's.

Fuel consumption worked out at 15ltr per 100km. Would have been better if the roads were straight. Most of the trip was up & over the mountain with tight turns & up down stretches. Kept it in 3rd for a lot of the hilly stretches. Max speed over the mountain due to never ending bends was around 40 to 50 kph! So I guess gas milage is not too bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is about 15.7 MPG. Which I would say is pretty good for the trails. Looks like fun!

You're about right. I worked it out to be 15.5, but pretty close lol. 100km = 62.39mi. 15L = 4gal.

Nice pics kiwi. Welcome back

Thanks guys.

That's on paved roads - not dirt!

And yea, tranny not yet done but is behaving. I've got the valve body, shift kit & 'vette servo. Just waiting for a guy who said he'd help.

In the meantime I've taken a few days leave before the Easter weekend & need to first build a new deck at the entrance to the house.

But, I'll get there.
