I own a 2001 2 door 5 speed with 385500 miles, it has the original exhaust system !
If you want longevity try finding a 5 speed or an automatic with very low mileage. The automatic transmission is the weakness link in an otherwise great vehicle .
Also OBDII for easier diagnostics .
