Default Blazer/Jimmy hood question

I found a hood that came off 99 Jimmy(or so it says online) I have a 99 Blazer. Will it fit just right? My assumption is that all S serias viechles are pretty much the same. Am I correct?

Yup, it'll fit. The lines on the hood aren't the same (the jimmy has two creases, where the blazer only has one)... but it'll fit.

As far as fit and function, it'll be fine. The creases on the GMC hood should line up with the inside edge of your headlights. At the front lip, both hoods are exactly the same.

I posted a two pics of what I think your talking about creases. The first one is my Blazer the second one is a picture of a Jimmy for sale locally. I circled the parts I think are what your talking about.

As long as it fits and looks like it should be there (to the non Blazer enthusiast) Im not to worried about it. I just want it to line up correctly and pretty much bolt on.

Thanks again. If I go this route this will save me a lot of money for my stupididty. So thats why I want this to work, but I dont want it to work but look like $hit, it already does that. I would love to go whit an aftermarket cowl induction but Im a cheap *** with some things and just choose not to spend that much.

It'll fit AND look good. A lot of people put the GMC hoods on their Chevies. I actually considered it before getting my Cowl Hood.
