Blazer Operating Temperature

When I drive my Blazer without the air conditioning running it runs at 193 degrees. If I turn on the AC it will run between 197 - 198 degrees.

What temperature does your Blazer run at under these conditions?

a little bump in temp seems normal when running the air.
that sounds like its ok to me.

nice member name by the way.

Not that the gauge is that accurate anyway, but sounds fine to me as well. Do you have an aftermarket gauge installed (if so, where is the probe) or are you looking at the PCM data?

My Blazer seems to run about the same temp, even though I have an electric fan now. I have seen other blazers and s10's all run between the 190 to 210 range and never had any problems.

You have a 180 stat? Mine is in the center between 100 and 210,thats on the old analog clusters.

Mine is usually around the 203F mark on a hot day. That's with the 2 - 1730cfm E fans on the shroud I made at work & a 180F thermostat. Keep in mind that mine does run a little warmer due to the supercharger.

I have a ScanGauge2 in my vehicle so that is where I am getting my data from.
