I want to get an idea what Blazers look like with different lifts. Please post pictures if you have one along with the specs(body lift, Suspension).

Well to expain what it is you have to understand how your front suspension works. On vehicles with independant front suspension they have a-arms that are attached to pivot points onthe frame and to a knucle on the end that the wheel attaches to. This allows travel up and down like how most cars have. However unlike cars it doesnt use springs to support itself, rather torsion bars. Torsion bars are really long metal bars that run lengthwise down the vehicle. They attach to the side of the a arm and run back to a crossmember. How they work is when the a arms move up they twist the bar thus providing a springing action and of course when the a arms move down the bar untwists.

Now as for the lifting bit of it. The bars both have adjustment bolts on the crossmember. By tightening this you are changing the index point of the bars and thus they push the a arms down further resulting in lift. You can get about 1.5-2 inches of lift with about 5-6 full turns of the bolt. However this does have some draw backs. First of which is you gotta do something about the rear. Shackles are a good idea, ad-a-leafs also work. Second problem is driveline wear. Ball joints, CV's and other items tend to wear out faster as you are putting them in more extreme angles for longer periods of time. If you watch these items and keep good mainenance you should be ok.

Edit: Here is what my shackles look like. I made these myself as somewhat of a prototype design. Basically my dad and i didnt know what dimensions they exactly needed to be lengthwise so they have adjustment holes.
