What is your motivation? It is only going to wear things out more, whether it be your tires (obvious) or your brake linings in the rear, or your... The list goes on. There really is no point to doing a brake stand unless you are getting ready to line up at the drag strip.

I can't see any reason for doing one...unless you're trying to show off for some reason. But in reality your just going to break something, then complain cause you broke it lol

I killed the clutch and flywheel in my Silverado, doing this. Now I'm driving my dad's spare 95 Nissan. I would say its a bad idea.

my jimmy did a small one on wet pavement with 30x9.5 baja M/T's.

maybe not a burn out but i can get them to break pretty easy if theres a little bit of sand on the road.

Lol yea thats y i asked! Figured it was not a good idea and wanted to hear your opinions. Its raining today so im hitting some mud roads pretty soon

i have done it in my blazer with posi, and it has the power to do it, but really is it worth it? not really, its not good for it and it kills your mpg, but yes dirt roads are gods little gift to having some fun and scaring your girlfriend...snow is good too haha
