Default bully side steps...FAIL!!!

ok, first off i have had these steps on for about year and a half..since i lifted.

today i was getting in the back to get my tools and it just snapped off...now mind you i weigh 200 lbs...well below the "weight limit" of this step. my shin hit so hard i skinned it through my pants...i now have a "goose stripe" (egg dont work here) on my shin!!

check the pics....i looked at them all after i stopped slinging "choice" words and limping. need less to say they are coming off this weekend before someone else gets hurt.




FAIL!!!!

very poorly designed mounting bracket IMO
Looks like it may be a cast piece ??

BTW I would have snapped that off a long time ago if you are 200lbs LOL

yeah cast aluminum mounts..goin in scrap pile now.
