Well totaled the blazer yesterday, front driveside tire blew out, hit a dodge neon head on, slid sideways into a tree, then rolled into a ditch, everyones ok. NEVER EVER GONNA BUY DEFINITY DAKOTA M/TS AGAIN!! The tire didn't even have 10,000 miles on it and still had over 85% tread.

 

DAMN!!!! Glad to hear that everyone is ok thats a pretty serious wreck!! To bad the Blazer is dead but glad to see it held up well to protect you.

 

be nice to have the tire carrier off of it before its taken to the yard. glad to hear everyone is ok. just means its time for a bigger and better project.

 

Yea, I was in the passenger pics below of my seat. Now its time for a k5 or pickup, love the blazer but want bigger.

Wow you are seriously lucky to be alive after that. Unfortunately blazers dont have the best crash test ratings but it looks like this one held up well enough. So you werent driving someone else was? And since the tire blew out you arent getting a ticket are you? just curious

 

We were all extremly lucky. She held up good, and yea my friend was, my insurance is covering since its my truck but anything mine can't cover rolls over onto his, since he was the drive, but I'm suing Definity for this.

 

That's insane! Kind of scary on my end because I have some definity tires too. I have the a/t 2's. Hopefully this was just a rare case. Glad everyone was okay! That tire wasn't but a year or year and a half old eh?

 

it prob was a defected tire ... But **** id be scared to see that happen.

 

Good thing you guys are ok, and good luck on your case, suing a big company like that will probably be a challenge.
