RE: Chevy Tows Ford - Again
Thanks for the info, 2002XTREME! I'll be sure to pass that info along! I bet it's a crankshaft position sensor in that case. Had that same prob with my 92 Bonneville SSEi.

haha that reminds me of a picture its a ford symbol and under it it says "oh look, they even circled the problem"
the onl ford ill ever look at has to have a cummins dieasel, otherwise its not worth it, u could put a cummins in a geo trecker(i know a super sleeper) and it would domintae anything
point of this if it has a cummins, no matter how bad the name is it is an amazing vechile

Not always! I've seen hundreds of Dodge trucks with so many stupid electrical issues...
A few examples:
Like the heater fan shutting off whenever the brakes were on...
The heater not working unless the tilt steering was all the way up...
The interior dome lights flashing with the signal lights...
All on vehicles with less than 10,000 miles, and no modifications of any kind done to them, lol
Cummins is a nice engine... It's the rest of the Dodge that's a problem, lol.
Though, the 2008s with the jake seem to be pretty good so far... and they're nice to drive.

I've driven them all and ended up buying a Chev 1T Crewcab with the DMax and Allison. Just a much better truck than the others, IMHO.
