I have never, and will never go to a stealership. the ONLY time I have ever gone there is to find out a part number. I basically BS them into thinking I want it. find out the part number, and find it online for cheaper.
but rock auto, LMC truck ect are 1000x better for prices.

BP dished out a round of bad gas a few months ago. and dealerships were hitting up people for 1-2 k worth of repairs, going to the extreme of even saying your gas tank needs to be replaced. all we did was drain the tank and changed the filter, and the funny thing was the gas really wasnt that bad just a slight misfire in the morning from whatever was in that crap sinking to the bottom. the broke people at my work were even putting it in their vehicles with no problems what so ever.

I wouldnt have been able to do that man.. knowingly ripping people off and feeding them bullcrap is against my nature. I don't agree with that the dealership did, but again, bills have to be paid.

im sure theres some technicality that what they were doing was NOT ripping people off. more or less just doing it by the book. kinda like when you go to the doctor for a splinter, you would think you would just pull it out but nope they are gonna want to do xrays, bloodtests, give you antibiotics and make you come back in for a checkup.

im just glad i know how to work on all my junk i dont have to deal with any of this crap
