Has anybody tried that link for the Dex-Cool lawsuit. I have had to replace a intake gasket on a 1999 4 door and was wondering if this applied. Has anyone actually used this suit. Thanks Mike.

dex cool is fine if you flush it once in awhile and dont mix green collant with it i would never leave any fluid alone for 5 years or 150k
chevy re-desinged the intake manifold gaskets so once you replace them they should be good for a long time
the original style ones seem to go every 60k or so i know my truck needs them but its not too bad yet plus i can do them in a couple hours since i've dont them so often

There is an ongoing lawsuit in Canada right now for the intake gasket problems associated with GM vehicles. I believe the website to register for it is merchantlaw.ca then there is a title heading regarding the lawsuit. They have been out of court for awhile but I believe it resumes this week. They may be talking a settlement.
