Default Did I get a good deal?

I just picked up a 2000 Zr2 Blazer with 108k on it for $3500. The color is Space Blue Metallic I've never seen one that color in person but the interior and exterior is mint free of dings and dents. The guy that had it bought it for his son and fixed it up then presented it too his son but he didnt want it so he put it up for sale and I purchased it. The PO did the following to it with receipts for everything new fuel pump, new ac compressor, new shocks all around, new starter, new alternator, new brakes and rotors all the way around, the trans rebuilt at 105k and new tires. The guy he bought it off which was a buddy had an extra set off brakes and rotors for the front brand new that he forgot to give him until now so I'm getting those too. The only bad thing is the Brake and ABS idiot lights come on in the dash every now in then he said. From what I have read it is most likely a bad ground or the EBCM is bad which is only $60 on ebay. So tell me if you think I got a good deal or not. I will post pics of it tomorrow or Friday when its not raining here.

IMO you got a pretty good deal, I paid $2900 for my 1996 Jimmy when I bought it and then body was in about the same shape as yours.

yeah I would say you got a good deal. The abs light usually comes on because the hub sensor gets dirty or warn out. So I would buy a hub first before the ebcm. You can look for a bad ground but i dont think you will find it. Good buy!

Well I thought it was either one of those two things because of this link and found multiple ones like it. Also from what I read on this forum people are saying the same thing but the more things people tell me it could be is just more things I'll check no big deal.

Wow i have never read anything like that before, I learn something new everyday. I have worked on six 98 and new blazers and jimmys , all of them have had the light on. I have only replaced the hub on them and the light stays off. Thank you very much jjagr41390 for the information.

Yea my father has a 03 Zr2 sonoma with 80k on it someone just offered him 8k for it. He went to Virginia in 05 to get it he paid 14k for it with 25k on it and its
a 5 speed in yellow. And I do lots of research on all types of vehicles and I'm on atleast 7 forums. I will most likely wait for the lights to come back on and check what code my modis reads.

Default hid driving light replacment on a 2000 gmc jimmy diamond edition

Im replacing the passenger side driving light, which seems to be a big problem with these vehicles! anyway, can I get away with just replacing the one side or does both sides have to be replaced? and does the drivers side hid light have a relay/fuse configuration?
