Default Difference between LS and LT?

I’m looking at more replacement parts to order but some are saying “not for LS/LT,” some are saying “fits LS and LT,” and some are specifying just one or the other. What is the difference? I have the LT (1998) and other than the leather seats in the LT, how is it different from the LS? Will parts marked for the LS work in the LT and vice versa?

Specifically I’m looking at body panels and the air deflector, that will be a project for next year most likely (more important things need to be fixed before that) but I decided to look at the prices while shopping for other parts and got confused.

On a side note, how difficult is the driver’s side fender to replace? The quarter panels and rockers are rusted too but not as bad as the fender. I may be able to salvage it but it will require a lot of jerry rigging (I don’t know how to weld or fabricate and don’t have the tools) with scrap metal and JB Weld/fiberglass, the other panels may still have solid metal under the rust, save for the rockers which already have a hole but it’s not really noticeable and seems stabilized with some mind of heavy paint, maybe under coating. I need a new rear bumper though, the rust has annihilated that. Oddly there is minimal rust under the truck.

As for LS vs LT, try a Google search for dealer sales brochures.

This site doesn't have brochures for our years (1998 or 99) but they do have for 1996 and 2000: https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-...-kits-old.html

EDIT: I was mistaken: I found brochures for both of our years under "S10 Blazers"

The progression of GM trim levels ascends as follows: LS, LT, LTZ, and SS. In the case of the Blazer, LS is the base trim level and LT is the top trim level.

All the 98+ body panels should work (even the pickups), minus ZR2 fenders for a non ZR2. Removing the front fender isn't all that difficult, but time consuming. Couple good DIY videos on YouTube about it.

I think there were three trim levels....Base, LS and the fancy LT.

LT's also have the option for a 4-Button (NP8) trans case, the auto air HVAC (w/ air sensor in driver's ceiling), and the Bose stereo. Auto headlights were available, but not sure if they were an option for the LS or not, too...

Reading through the brochure Christine posted....my LS came with many of the LT options listed. One good thing to do is to 'decode' your RPO codes....that will figure out what options you have.
