My 95 blazer does not have a locking or limited slip rear diff. Does any one have problems offroading with on 1 wheel with power? And in 4 wheel does it lock up? I was just wondering about it so give your input

I wheeled mine for the first few outtings with open axles. There was a fe times where a locker would have got me through a area. All the power isgoing to the tire with the least amound of traction. When I locked the rear axle I came back to the park and climbed hills and went down trails I previously couldn't. But fun can be had no matter what. Try it and see if you need to get a traction device or not. I didn't NEED one but it helps

being the cheap F**k that i am, i went with the factory g80 in the rear, from a donor jimmy, and it made all the difference... plus i was able to change from a 3.42 to the 3.73, to help with the MPG on the hiway.
but from what i have been reading on this forum and talking to others in on the trails, the lunch box lockers from lockrite seem to work o.k.
