2000 4 door....column shift...and the stupid whole up gate...wish I had the split one.....(the glass does just go up)....but the whole tail gate ultimately has to go up....

 

2001 Column Shift, Full tailgate goes up.

 

98 2 door, glass up, tailgate down.

 

2000 LT 4x4. Glass and tailgate (with a little help - time for new lift supports)go up. Column shift.

 

1997 4 dr split glass up and tailgate up. Foor shift

 

Column shift, glass up, gate down, on a 2 door 2 wd.

i have 2001 xtreme and window goes up and tailgate goes down. my buddy has a 98 2dr 4x4 and his is the same. a guy i work with has a 98 4dr 4x4and all of his goes up. i couldnt figure out what was going on

 

Kyle nailed it earlier in this post, the LIFTGATE is optional on 4-doors only All blazers and Jimmys are standard with a TAILGATE and LIFTGLASS....if you ordered a 4-door and spent the extra cash for this option youcould getthe LIFTGATE with a LIFTGLASS. All the 2-doors had a Tailgate and Liftglass. All the Bravadas and Envoys had the Liftgate and Liftglass. Mine is a 1997 LS and has a Liftgate and a floor shifter.
