http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...Q5fAccessories

theres a video attached, and the motor seems pretty powerful and that it would force some air into the engine. what do you guys think?

RUN AWAY QUICKLY!!!

1. It's an obstruction in your air path.
2. You have to use a switch to enable it.
3. Unless you have it on 100% of the time, see number 1.
4. I suspect running it 100% of the time would burn up the 'turbine' quite rapidly.
5. Is the electrical draw vs. the supposed 5psi power increase worth it?

You might as well just route your AC to the intake....

THe electric current required to make enough boost to be worthwhile is not available from an automobile

I've seen everything now. I have a few extra 120mm fans out in my shop from my last computer build, maybe I should bolt one on and see?

Save some $$$ and just install an electric leaf blower before the MAF. You'll get the same results.

Seems like it wouldn't work very well and for that price I would just save up for a real super charger.

20 to 35 HP gain?!!!

R.U.F.S.!!!

where's the dyno run to back up the gains on that Jeep's 4 liter?

i bet you'd get better performance gains by grafting a Subie scoop to the hood of your truck.

would that make it a Scoubie scoup? could you now feed it Scoobie snacks?

imagine if your Blazer performed like Scoobie does after downing a few Scoobie snacks!

i think i'll pass.

ps: that was sooooo funny to watch, i just had to watch it to the end!
