Electric to Manual

Well, my Blazer has the electric switch for turning on four wheel drive, but of course it's broken. I've read on the board how to fix it, but still it seems like such a weak system it would just be matter of time until it broke again. Is there a way to convert to just the regular manual transfer case shifter? Or would that cost a whole bunch of money time that wouldn't be worth it?

Not to mention that the product linked to above only deals with the front axle which has nothing electronic to do with it. I believe what the OP is questioning is if it is possible to move to a manually controlled tranfercase.
The biggest difficulty I see with the actual controls. Manual transfer cases have linkages with stops for precise engagement of each of the modes. If you wish to do such a thing, you would have to determine the location of each of the modes and fabricate a mechanical linkage to perform these operations.

As I said, you would have to fab up a way to positively stop the shaft at each of the 4 modes (2hi, 4hi, Neutral, and 4lo) and retain it in those positions (detents?).
