I have a full size '93 blazer with starting problems. I have had the battery, and starter checked and they were good. I replaced the ignition. It finally started and ran for less than one day before having the same problems as before. There is nothing from the ignition system at all. When I bought it ten years ago it had an electro lock system already in it. I pulled the key chip out and noticed that two of the metal strips were discolored, when I lightly rubbed them they popped up on one end. Can anyone please tell me how to just remove the system?
