Engine swap on my 4.3 won't start
How do I get my blazer to start I have fuel n spark everything is working the way it's supposed too but it won't start I did everything the book shows but won't start up I got the motor out of a 96 Astro van it ran good was quiet but can't figure out why it won't start I change the spark plugs it has a lot new parts on it it's a rebuilt motor need help with this problem thanks for your time.

Can you please provide more info:
- Engine type and if possible VIN
- Type of injection (TBI or CPI)
- What has been changed?
- How has the harness been setup? (But you have spark and fuel so it seems to work basically at least)
First thing to check in my opinion - ignition cable setup. Make sure the right cable goes to the right cylinder.

It's a 98 Chevy Blazer 4 x 4 motor has 70,000 miles on it I put a new water pump on alternator new fan new belt new spark plugs new rotor cap and rotor and rotor shaft from what the book says it's timed I come to the way the book told me to but won't start I'll have to get the VIN number later tonight after work let me know if this helps
