Ever wonder about that nice lifted, lowered or stock blazer in your town? Do you ever want to ask the owner if they've heard of this website or if there a member of it?

Word of mouth - okay.
Business cards - not so much.

Could I ask why we can't advertise with business cards and would fliers also be a no?

None of us are authorized to represent a property of Internet Brands outside of this forum and having a physical property like a business card, flyer, etc. could possibly be taken as doing that. It could become a matter of legal liability. Word of mouth is not a tangible item.

The way I see it, most people own a vehicle for one purpose: To get from point A to point B. They really don't care much about mods, other than what kind of air freshener to hang off the rear view mirror. The only maintenance they do is put gas in the tank. If something is wrong they go to the dealership.

Ask and some will not know what engine they have. I've met a few that had ZR2's and had no clue what that meant.

The way I see it, there are "basicly" two types of people on the forums. Those who know what they are driving, do their own maintenance, want mods to make the vehicle better and want to share the knowledge they have with other and the other group is those who just got the vehicle and want to learn as much as they can about it.

For the other 95% of people out on the road, they just want to get from point A to point B.

I believe you will find the general public to have a completely different perception of a decal opposed to a business card or flyer. I know that I certainly would.
