Default extended cab body on regular cab frame? need help

has it been done? i am looking at buying a 1000 regular cab bacause of the millage and lift but realy need/want an extended cab. has anyone put one on before? all info would be great thanks

I think you would have to modify the rear wall of the ex cab cause the reg cabs frame juts upward sooner than the excab. Its do-able. Would look sick if you took the 18 inches out of the box too!
