Default Extended CV shaft Upgrade?

I recently put in an RC 3.5” lift on my 2005 jimmy. I noticed some grease coming out of the CV shaft. And have seen extended CV shafts from Napa? Has anyone tried this or have more info?

Don't know about extended front axle shafts, but I did have this happen when I did my mild lift. The inner lip of the inner CV joint cover got loose and allowed grease to escape.

At first I tried replacing it with a new axle but I couldn't get it in. I then took the old one and replaced the CV joint cover. This was not so bad. It also gave me a chance to clean and grease the joint with new grease. I now check these whenever I'm under the front of the vehicle and at least twice a year. I got the CV joint cover from NAPA and it has held up pretty well. Being made of neoprene it is more flexible than the originals, which I think helps.
