cv shaft replacement

cv shaft replacement
i came across some A1/Cardone cv shafts on rockauto for a decent price. i assume that theres not much diffrence between the aftermarket cv shafts. i did a search on them mostly to see if i could find a better price and came across a site that someone replaced their cv shafts wit these and they said the boot broke really fast on them. im doing the ball joints and the drivers side boot is busted and it is squeaking so im sure its shot. any recommendations ?

i don't know what difference if any between aftermarket cv shafts are but i know advanced offers a cv shaft with a lifetime warranty for $65. that's not bad at all. the Cardone/A1 rockauto sells are around the same price (maybe $10 cheaper) i never changed one before (never had a car that has them) is there any kind of seal or gasket that come with them or that i would need to buy?
