Default few questions

i have a 98 s10 blazer with 205k miles i was wondering if doing 2" shackles and 1" t-bar cranks would be safe for my truck? i just replaced the front right CV axle less thank 10k miles ago. just looking for a little more lift at a cheap price. Would these shackles work ( http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Control/...232/rid/127794 ) or would you recommend a different set/brand, if so post link to them. also is there anything else you have to do beside put in the different shackles and turn the t-bar keys?

My 2001 BlaZeR2 has 204.5k miles on it with 3" shackles and a 1.5" tbar crank, i don't see why yours couldn't handle it, also those shackles look good to me.

I don't have a body lift on mine. Never really been a fan of the amount of frame they expose under the rockers, but there are plenty of guys on here that have done them and they look good. I would say it would be fine on yours as long as your bolts aren't completely frozen.

that is a pretty good price on shackles. If you live in a state that does inspections the longest shackles you can put on can only be 2" longer than stock which those are so you are in good shape there. Cranking the tbars only up an inch or an inch and half won't be that bad for your front end parts. Just keep an eye on your cv boots they like to rip. A cv boot replacement kit is less that $20

The body mount bolts that you have to remove in order to put the spacers in. If they are rusted so that they can't move, it will become a nightmare.

Well that being the case, if you like the look of them, and buy a decent kit with bumper relocation brackets there's no reason it shouldn't work.

I would imagine the cost of getting a body lift installed would be a little pricey.
