Default Front Brakes - Where does this part go?

Today I took the front right tire off to see why I'm getting a high pitch squeal while driving. All looks to be good but after taking it apart, the part below was there but can't remember where it came from. It was actually sitting in the piston chamber when I seen it. So must have fell there when I took the pads off?

looks like It clips onto the back of the pad and the "v" part goes into the caliper piston

I just put the truck back onto the street until I can find some pics and if not then I'll have to look at removing the left front tire and see if I can find out where it goes.

That's where it goes, it's an anti-rattle clip.
