I installed mine on my 86 k30 for the winch. Another great use I found is since the truck is lifted I have a bar that slides into it and is as long as the bumper so I can stand on it while working on the engine

I hear where you are coming from, for me the truck is a more about function then form. I have 2003 accord v6 which is kinda of my baby and an 98 and 99 odyssey which are kid haulers. The truck is pretty much only used for camping, towing, snow, etc.

I like all the ideas in these threads. Has anyone used a front mount hitch to mount a snow plow?

Every day use are much heavier duty

Have you purchased the winch yet? I've been browsing this site more and more and have kind of gotten the bug to go off roading. I was looking at something like this:
